in the restoration of women
Restoring women from trafficking. For Freedom. For life. Forever.
North Star Initiative provides support to women who are survivors of sex trafficking and sexual exploitation
by addressing their physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual needs through a Christ-centered focus.
THE IMPACT OF ONE.
Everyone has a story that is filled with:
Everyone has a story that is defined both by the uplifting and wounding experiences that shaped them. For women who have been trafficked into commercial sexual exploitation, most feel their story is defined by pain and a loss of hope.
However, everyone's story can also be about restoration. The impact that one person, one group, one organization, one movement can have on another's life is immeasurable.
North Star Initiative believes that every woman freed from commercial sexual exploitation and trafficking deserves the opportunity to find healing and fulfillment through a restored life.
THE VALUE OF ONE.
North Star Initiative's vision is to open The Harbor, Lancaster County's first restoration home for female survivors of domestic sex trafficking, a place of refuge for women to encounter:
Deep and Meaningful Relationships
The Hope of a renewed life through Jesus Christ.
At the Harbor, each woman will have the opportunity to rediscover their intrinsic value and reclaim what was taken from them. They will learn how to successfully navigate through painful past experiences toward a place of healing and wholeness. By finding value again, not only will they be integrated back into society as a restored person, but they will also possess the tools to come alongside other women going through the same circumstances.
EVERY STORY MATTERS.
