COVER US IN PRAYER
PRAYER + PRAISES
In all we do, we depend on God’s goodness, generosity, and protection to serve survivors and stand against the dark. Thank you for being willing to partner with us as one of our prayer warriors. Here are some specific prayers for our current season at NSI.
March Prayer Requests:
Our team — for unity, wisdom, endurance, compassion, and joy in the work.
Open positions and needed staff — We need to hire 1-2 more coaches to provide direct care for residents. Pray that God would bring the right people, at the right time, with the right calling.
Financial provision — We depend on the Lord to continue providing abundantly each of our personal, team and survivor needs. We are currently facing some specific financial needs. Pray with us that we would rest in the Father’s kindness as we continue doing the work He’s entrusted to us.
Survivors’ wellbeing — Some residents are currently navigating decisions about the next steps they want to take in their healing journeys. Pray for wisdom, clarity, open doors and spiritual renewal as they make decisions.
Employment opportunities for survivors — Pray for one who is ready to apply for work, that she would have the desire and connection for what is the best fit for her.
A reliable car donated to a survivor who will soon graduate — We are still praying that God would provide a car at little to no cost for one of our residents who is currently working and making plans for herself after graduation. Reliable transportation is a crucial need!
New resident - next week, a new woman will join our restoration program. Pray for courage and peace as she prepares for this transition, and for the current residents to be ready to receive her.
Protection in daily spiritual warfare — We know the Lord is our protector. Pray with us that He would guard our minds, hearts, relationships, and this ministry from the enemy’s schemes.
Praises
Praise God for a new job for one survivor!
Recent blessings from God through the community include: books donated for residents from a local book club, medical care for survivors’ needs, needed repairs at one of our properties, generous clothing donations for residents, and the invitation for survivors to enjoy some pampering self-care. The community that surrounds us and blesses survivors is one of our greatest blessings!
Florissant Collective
As Florissant grows into new markets, pray for wisdom and favor with business connections. Also pray that we can add volunteers that would allow us to provide more work hours for survivors.
Pray that God would provide a donated physical location/real estate/facility that would allow for expansion and the ability to open a storefront.
If you would like to join an in-person monthly prayer call with one of our board members, please contact Brad Bame to be added to the online invitation.
