EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Melinda’s experience in roles across a variety of non-profit sectors over the past 18 years shape how she serves North Star Initiative’s mission and team. Along with an MBA in Strategic Leadership from Messiah University, she has earned credentials in Christian non-profit leadership, trauma-informed care, sexual risk avoidance education, and cross-cultural communication. Experiences in a wide range of organizational settings and cultural contexts have equipped her to lead with unique insight and resilience. She is wired to advocate passionately for vulnerable populations and invest in each person in ways that allow them to flourish.
